A beautiful summers evening, good food, live music and unlimited Prosecco, all overlooked by a medieval castle. What more could you want on a Friday night?
Beth and I were very fortunate to be sent four VIP tickets to Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park by Artisan Drinks (thanks Artisan!).
The tickets came through a little bit late so we handed our two spares to a young family who were on the verge of buying standard tickets. Definitely our good deed of the day!
The event is a hybrid of a music and food festival with a handful of headliners over the weekend, split into an afternoon and evening session. Artists and Chefs included:
Chefs
- Tom Kerridge
- Fred Siriex
- Candice Brown
- Angela Hartnett
- Jodie Kidd
- To name a few…
Artists
- Tom Odell
- Razorlight
- Will Young
- Toploader
- Scouting For Girls
- Plus lots more…
The VIP experience allowed us access to a private tipi style tent, with a bar, private viewing area of the stage and the poshest portaloos you’ve ever seen! We were entitled to 2 Gin and Tonics and unlimited Prosecco! I clearly picked the short straw with the car keys and a 60 mile drive home, but Beth had a great time!
We picked the Friday night to see one of our favourites Scouting for Girls. We’ve seen them a handful of times and they always put on a great show! Can you believe that their big hit ‘She’s So Lovely’ came out in 2007!? The boys gave an outstanding 40 minute set with plenty of crowd participation.

Our hosts Artisan Drinks are a producer of 100% natural mixers, they offer three different tonics and a smoked cola to add to your Favourite spirit. They taste great and I love the artwork on the packaging too!
Pub in the Park pops up in parks across the country visiting the following this summer:
- Tunbridge Wells
- Chiswick
- St Albans
- Leeds
- Bath
- Knutsford
If you’re a lover of great food and live music it’s defiantly worth having a look!
